Sir Mokshagundam Visweswaraiah,(15 September 1860 - 14 April 1962) was an eminent Indian engineer and statesman. He is a recipient of the Indian republic's highest honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1955. He was also knighted by the British for his myriad contributions to the public good. Every year, 15th September is celebrated as the Engineer's Day in India in his memory and is a public holiday in some places, especially his birth state Karnataka.
With the support of Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, Maharaja of Mysore, Visweswaraiah made an arguably unprecedented contribution as Diwan to the all-round development of the State. Not only the Krishnaraja Sagara dam and reservoir, but also the hydroelectric projects at Shivanasamudram, the steel mills at Bhadravathi, the Sri Jayachamarajendra Polytechnic Institute (SJP) at Bangalore, the University of Mysore and many other industries and public works owe their inception or active nurture to him. He was instrumental in the founding of the "Government Engineering College" at Bangalore in 1917, one of the first engineering institutes in India. This institution was later named the "University Viswesvarayya College of Engineering" (UVCE) after its founder.

Eugene Wesley "Gene" Roddenberry(X), (August 19, 1921 – October 24, 1991) was an American screenwriter and producer. He became best known as the creator of what would become the science fiction universe of Star Trek(Y). He would also become one of the first people to be "buried" in space. Roddenberry was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theatre of World War II. Roddenberry was sometimes referred to as the "Great Bird of the Galaxy" in reference to his role in Star Trek.

Donatien Alphonse François de Sade, Marquis de Mazan, (June 2, 1740 – December 2, 1814), known as the Marquis de Sade, was a French aristocrat, revolutionary, and writer of philosophic, violent pornography espousing extreme freedom (licentiousness), who was morally, religiously, and legally untrammelled in pursuing personal pleasure as the highest principle. He was imprisoned for cruelty and debauchery, in an insane asylum and prisons: 11 years in Paris (10 in the Bastille); 1 month in Conciergerie; 2 years in a fortress; 1 year in Madelonnettes; 3 years in Bicêtre; 1 year in Sainte-Pélagie; and 13 years in the Charenton insane asylum. The Marquis de Sade wrote mostly while imprisoned; the word "sadism" derives from his surname, describing the sexual cruelty in his books.
The movie Quills directed by Philip Kaufman was based on him.It starred Kate Winslet,Joaquin Phoenix & Geoffrey Rush as The Marquis De Sade & was nominated for 3 Oscars.

Ángel Valodia Matos Fuentes (born December 24, 1976 in Holguín) is a Cuban taekwondo athlete. He received a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and added another at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro.
at the 2008 Summer Olympics where Matos kicked a referee after being disqualified in the bronze medal match.The World Taekwondo Federation banned Matos and his coach for life following this incident.

Benjamin Button is a character created by F.Scott Fitzerald.The story begins in 1860 with the birth of the protagonist.He is born with the body of a seventy-year-old man, and when his father first visits him mere hours after his birth he is already able to speak. To avoid embarrassment,his father forces him to shave his beard and dye his hair in order to look younger.
As the story progresses it soon becomes apparent to Benjamin's family that he is aging backwards. At the age of eighteen he attempts to enroll at Yale University, but the officials at Yale send him away believing that he is a fifty-year-old man.
Many tragi-comedic incidents happen to him & finally, at the end of his life, he ceases to exist.
The movie,"The Curious case Of Benjamin Button" is based on the story of the same name and is directed by David Fincher whose previous works include "Fight Club" & "Zodiac".

The photo is that of Ray Tomlinson , the founding father of the modern E-Mail system.He is a programmer who implemented an email system in 1971 on the ARPANet. Email had been previously sent on other networks such as AUTODIN. It was the first system able to send mail between users on different hosts connected to the ARPAnet (previously, mail could only be sent to others who used the same computer). To achieve this, he used the @ sign to separate the user from their machine, which has been used in email addresses ever since.
