1.Edward Davis Wood, Jr. , popularly known as Ed Wood.The movie "Ed Wood" made by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp was based on him.It won 2 Academy Awards.
2.Dwarkanath Shantaram Kotnis.The story of his life was the subject of a Bollywood movie with the title Dr Kotnis Ki Amar Kahani ( English : The Immortal Story of Dr. Kotnis), script by Khwaja Ahmed Abbas, directed by V Shantaram.
3.Shaan. It was director Ramesh Sippy's 2nd film with Amitabh Bachchan after Sholay.
4.Fanny and Alexander.It is a 1982 Golden Globe and Academy Award winning film by Ingmar Bergman.Along with the Seventh Seal and Wild Strawberries , Fanny and Alexander is considered by many to be one of Bergman's best films.
5.Peter Sellers.Peter Sellers played 3 characters in Stanley Kubrick's landmark movie, "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" , for which he was paid $1,000,000.Hence Kubrick quipped , "I got three for the price of six".
