1.Born on October 10, 1924 he was an American motion picture screenwriter, director, producer, actor, author and editor (often performing many of these functions simultaneously).It is believed that his mother, Lillian, always wanted a girl and would sometimes, until he was about 12 years old, dress him in skirts and dresses.For the rest of his life, he was a heterosexual transvestite.Fascinated by the exotic and bizarre, he joined a carnival after discharge from the Marines. 2.He was one of five Indian physicians dispatched to China to provide medical assistance during the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1938.
