He made fifteen feature films with his siblings, the Y, and also had a successful solo career, most notably as the host of the radio and television game show You Bet Your Life.He had a distinctive image, which included a heavy greasepaint moustache and eyebrows and glasses.X had a successful performing career even after the brothers stopped making films though. He performed constantly, doing a one-man show at Carnegie Hall when he was 82!He's the one to have said these witty remarks which became immortal: 'A black cat crossing your path signifies the animal is going somewhere'; 'Anyone who says he can see through women is missing a lot'; and 'Getting older is no problem. 9.X is a character created by F.Scott Fitzerald.The story begins in 1860 with the birth of the protagonist, X. X is born with the body of a seventy-year-old man, and when his father first visits him mere hours after his birth he is already able to speak. To avoid embarrassment,X's father forces him to shave his beard and dye his hair in order to look younger.

As the story progresses it soon becomes apparent to the X's family that X is aging backwards. At the age of eighteen he attempts to enroll at Yale University, but the officials at Yale send him away believing that he is a fifty-year-old man.
Many tragi-comedic incidents happen to X & finally, at the end of his life, X ceases to exist.
A movie based on X and directed by David Fincher is slated for a 2008 release.

1.Y is"Benihana Steak House" and X is Hiroaki (Rocky) Aoki.After he received his degree in restaurant management from New York City Community College in 1964, Rocky Aoki used the $10,000 he had saved from an ice cream business to convince his father to co-invest in the first Benihana, a four-table teppanyaki restaurant on West 56th Street. "Benihana", taken from the Japanese name for safflower, was suggested by Aoki's father. According to family legend, Aoki's father was walking through the bombed-out ruins of post-war Tokyo when he happened across a single red safflower growing in the rubble.
2.Falun Gong or Falun Dafa(X) was founded by Li Hongzhi(Y) in 1992.As Falun Gong has no membership or rosters, the number of practitioners is unknown. 4.A Darwin Award(X) is tongue-in-cheek "honor" named after evolutionary theorist Charles Darwin. 5.Larrabee(X) is the codename for a graphics processing unit (GPU) chip that Intel is developing separately from its current line of integrated graphics accelerators. The video card containing Larrabee is expected to compete with GeForce and Radeon products from NVIDIA and AMD/ATI respectively. Larrabee will also compete in the GPGPU and high-performance computing markets. Intel plans to have engineering samples of Larrabee ready by the end of 2008, with a video card hitting shelves in late 2009 or 2010.
